Concorde Fire Soccer Club conducts tryouts annually following Memorial Day (rising U9 to U13) and State Cup (rising U14 to U19).  Per Georgia Youth Soccer Association, Academy Evaluations for rising U9 to U12 and Select Tryouts for the rising U13 age group can begin the Tuesday following Memorial Day. Per Georgia Youth Soccer Association, the Select Tryouts for U14 to U19 age groups can begin the Monday following State Cup Finals.  Exact times and field locations for each program (Central, North and South) will be posted closer to tryouts.

Academy Evaluations are used to evaluate players during speed/agility exercises, technical exercises, small-sided games, and scrimmages.  The professional staff, age group coaches, and guest evaluators will use this time to determine the ability of each player for placement on the appropriate team for the upcoming seasonal year.

Select Tryouts are a highly selective process done by our professional staff, specific age group coaches and guest evaluators.  Dependent on talent level and numbers, the coaching staff will form teams (Elite, Black, White, or Red) in each program (Central, North and South) that will place each player in the best environment for their individual development.

Tryout Sign-Up is offered in two ways.  There will be an online sign-up prior to tryouts available.
Current Concorde Fire families are strongly encouraged to sign-up online prior to tryouts to save time when checking in at the fields.  The other way is to sign-up on the day off tryouts at the fields.

Not sure what age group your child is will be in next year??  Click HERE for the 2008-2009 Age Group Chart.

Players should plan
to attend all three days of tryouts to give the coaches the best opportunity to see them in action. Some players will learn their status before the end of tryouts, but not all. The selection process is very difficult and the coaches put a lot of time and effort into the selection process. Please allow the coach up to 48 hours after the last day to contact you.

WHAT'S NEXT AFTER TRYOUTS????

If you make the team, you have until Signing Day to make your commitment to the team. You will do this by submitting your signed registration form and all applicable fees due.
