Special Announcement for Immediate Release
Concorde Fire and Southern Soccer Academy are excited to announce an alliance.
Concorde Fire and SSA Soccer Clubs are excited to formally announce a strategic alliance which will align these two very strong soccer organizations for the elite player.
The alliance will improve and strengthen the elite soccer landscape in the metro Atlanta area. Our exciting partnership creates a program that will focus on maximizing elite youth player development in the Atlanta market.
The partnership creates the optimal environment for the elite player to develop, train, and compete. The alliance ensures that all players have a true pathway to the highest level of youth soccer.
We look forward to working together to expand our footprint in youth soccer at the National level. Our shared resources will allow us to provide a high-level training environment that all players expect and deserve.
The club Directors believe both clubs have a common philosophy and common goals that will enhance and benefit the player experience at Concorde Fire and SSA.
Ken Kurilec, Executive Director at Concorde Fire, says, “We are excited to enter into an alliance with an outstanding club in SSA. The underlying principle of providing each elite player with a pathway to suit their needs is at the center of this partnership.”
Simon Davey, Executive Director at SSA, says, “We are excited to partner with Concorde Fire, a club with a fantastic track record of producing players at a national level as an established DA and ECNL club. Through this partnership, SSA, as one of the largest clubs in Georgia with a wide range of existing programs already, can now offer its Elite-level players a new level of competition to help continue their development as they progress through the club.”
Gregg Blasingame, CEO at Concorde Fire, says, “We are very excited to form a strategic alliance with SSA. The model involves building up soccer in metro Atlanta and creating a player pathway to greater opportunities for the elite player.”
